What you'll be doing

This is an individual contributor role reporting into the FP&A Head, sitting alongside our Commercial Finance Manager. You'll support the financial narrative across our portfolio — helping to evaluate strategic decisions, understand product economics, and translate data into clear, actionable insight.

This is a role for someone who wants to grow quickly. You'll contribute meaningfully from day one whilst building towards greater ownership over time. We want someone with genuine curiosity for how businesses work — comfortable with numbers and with people, developing into a commercially rounded finance professional.

01

Strategic & commercial analysis

Support financial analysis underpinning key strategic decisions — new market entries, product launches, pricing strategy and commercial partnerships. Build towards independent ownership of model components, developing your grasp of competitive dynamics, unit economics and growth drivers.

02

Market & product economics

Assist in evaluating product-level profitability across lending, cards, savings, BNPL and payments. Analyse customer acquisition costs, lifetime value, payback periods and other key unit economics — and help develop forward-looking views on market opportunity and strategic sustainability.

03

Cross-functional collaboration

Work closely with local finance teams and product managers to align financial modelling with on-the-ground realities. Bring analytical rigour and a commercial perspective to product and growth conversations, with exposure to senior stakeholders as you develop.

Who you'll work with

You'll work directly with the Finance team and CFO — the people driving financial strategy across Fintech Farm's global markets.

Our hiring process

Five stages. We keep it straightforward and move quickly.

1
Recruiter screen
30 min · Tom Pearson, Head of Talent
A conversation to understand your background, what you're looking for, and to give you a fuller picture of Fintech Farm — the business, the role, and what success looks like here.
2
Technical interview
60 min · FP&A Head
Two halves: 30 minutes discussing your experience, your approach to financial analysis, and the models you've worked with — followed by 30 minutes working through a live financial exercise together. We want to see how you think and how you handle numbers in real time.
3
Case study
Take-home · Presented back to FP&A Head · 60 min
After the technical interview, you'll receive a financial dataset to model and analyse in your own time. You'll then present your findings in a 60-minute session — walk us through your modelling, your assumptions, and your conclusions.
4
Interview with CFO
30 min · Roman Merkulov, CFO
An introduction to how Roman works and how you would collaborate together. Less about testing, more about understanding the strategic agenda, how the finance function operates at Fintech Farm, and whether this is the right environment for you.
5
Founder interview
60 min · One of our Co-Founders
A conversation with one of our founders to understand how you work and make sure Fintech Farm is the right fit — for you as much as for us. Less about testing, more about a genuine conversation on what drives you and how you operate.
